Our Story

The Pastoral Pork Company has over 25 years experience in growing premium quality pork.

Established in 1992, the founding members each contributed unique skills and perspective to the company vision.

Ranging from backgrounds in pig production and nutrition, to agricultural engineering and business expertise. Each of the members had a shared passion for pork, and a common goal, to bring outdoor pig production to Australia.

Outdoor pig production

Our properties in the Western District of Victoria have been carefully selected to align with the land use requirements of outdoor pig production.

Each of the farms operates on a rotational land use system based on the nutritional status of the soil.

This approach is underpinned by our
commitment to sustainable farming practice, ensuring that the quality of the land is improved with each rotation.
